PHOTOGRAPHER AND VISUAL STORYTELLER
HIGH VOLTAGE CLUB
I often have very kind and good discussions with my collegues about cameras (surprise) and I often hear that a Leica M is not for stage photography, but of course I disagree.
The objections usually is something about missing autofocus, missing face detection, missing continues focus and a lot of more stuff, most people actually believes is helping them out of anything.
So to prove them wrong I went to a Heavy Metal club in Copenhagen and shot a series of High Voltage pictures, with Leica M10 and Summilux 35/1.4 ASPH.
And yes, you have to work a little more and anticipate a bit more what, where and when everything happens, but come on, it's not that hard.
I think it went really well..
